Vehicle Description This is another one of my projects.
I'm still working on putting the interior back together.
Most of the trim pieces are there and everything is new.
Seats, door panels and rear area carpet and wood.
Floors are solid.
The frame is perfect.
It needs the headline.
It needs new electric wiring etc.
The wood trim for the doors are perfect.
No broken or split areas.
It needs to go because I have other projects that have priority for the family.
1951 Pontiac station wagon.
All original in line eight cylinders (engine size is 268 ?).
Hydromatic.
transmission.
All original body and paint.
(Nice patina).
Suspension, wheels, steering wheel, gauges are all working properly.
I replaced all of the windows.
I still have to install the new front windshields and gasket.
I replaced all the door seals.
This wagon is driven occasionally on weekends or to a local car shows.
In other words THIS IS A CLASSIC CAR that is ready to enjoy.
Memories are back my friends.
let's go back to the 50's.
Let's go surfing or water skiing or fishing with the family and friends.
Hard to find collectible plus a very desirable style.
All brakes are operating properly.
The hydromatic transmission is helping the 8 cylinder engine move in a real smooth way with no problems at all.
My plans were to install a fuel injection engine (LS Chevy) but I hate to destroy a piece of history.
